On the Farm

Reminiscent of a bush ballad, ‘On the Farm’ is based on a true story – when city meets country and we stepp outside of our comfort zones. The poem appears in Tell ‘Em They’re Dreaming: Bedtime Ballads and Tall Tales from the Australian Bush. Profits from book sales go to the NSW Rural Fire Service.

I was thrilled when my first poetry submission was picked up for Ireland’s The Caterpillar, an international magazine of poems, stories and art created by adults for children. The Winter 2020/21 edition, in which my poem, ‘Today’ appears, can be purchased here.

Walk With Me

I was thrilled when two of my poems were selected from nearly 200 submissions for Nillumbik Shire’s ‘Written in the Time of COVID-19’ installation in mid-2020. You can read more about this innovative project here or purchase a copy of the anthology, These Tiny Threads Remind Me, here.
